Turkaman Persian Rug 8 .4 x 12.7
Turkaman Persian Rug
Featured here is our Turkaman rug produced by Turkoman Tribes in the late Nineteenth Century. Rugs from this region are traditionally known for their Bukhara design and Elephant Foot and others pattern however rugs from Turkoman Tribes often have a great deal of white incorporated within their design which their Afghanistan, Pakistan and Russian neighbors do not. Traditionally, these rugs were used for various purposes and decorations including door hangings, floor coverings in tents and handbags! Thus they are durable for heavy traffic and easy to maintain and clean!
