Tabriz Taba Persian Rug

The city of Tabriz is one of the oldest rug weaving centers in Iran and are known for their huge diversity in rug designs. Their pieces are handmade in Iran with high quality hand-spun wool making it both durable for heavy traffic and easy to clean. Featured here is our Tabriz Rug,

Tabriz Tabataba rugs designed and weaved by Mr. Tabatabaei . The colors combination in his rugs are similar each others , but the designs are different , also in this type rugs been used floral patterns with animals and human motives , some of the his rugs called Hunting Design .

Mr Tabatabaei is discontinue to weave theses kinds of Tabriz rugs in 1979 .

This rug I purchased from Collector who collect those rugs in 1950 to 1970 .

All these rugs never been used and 100% brand new but they have 60 to 70 years old .
