Persian Gabbeh area rugs are one of the very famous tribal carpets coming from Iran. Handmade with a tighter weave and lower knot density, their piles are traditionally half an inch to an inch longer and always made with 100% Wool. Nomadic Gabbeh weavers are usually Sheppard's who weave carpets from their own flock of sheep! Nomadic caricatures are inspired by the weavers story of landscapes and sceneries. They are not only durable for heavy traffic but easy to maintain and clean.
