Unlike other Persian Tribal rugs, Varamin carpets are known for their repeated all over medallion patterns. They are known to be handmade on a cotton foundation and primarily woven with 100% Wool. Colors used are normally dependent on the nomadic ethnicity of the weaver however they primarily use dark browns and reds on a khaki or navy background. They are known for being durable for heavy traffic and easy to maintain and clean.
